This painting took many twists and turns as it was being created. Layer over layer. I never was satisfied. I grappled with it. Fear and insecurity seemed to rear its Cerberus-like head. It wasn’t until the end. I just knew. There was a transcendence of worldly experiences. A breaking through dimensions and dreams. An exorcism of demons, paused for a nanosecond.   -jwc
